Cabernet Sauvignon Estate 2020

Description
The Kashuba Cabernet Sauvignon from this beautiful hillside vineyard in Sonoma Valley showcases bold fruit flavors, complex aromas, and a well-balanced structure. It is a wine that benefits from aging, both during the 2 year elevate in barrel and the proceeding bottle aging as well. This allows the tannins to soften and the flavors to become more integrated over time, while maintaining freshness and luscious fruit.
Appearance: The wine has a deep, ruby-red color with hints of purple at the rim which is quite intense and opaque.
Aroma: On the nose, rich aromas of blackberries, blackcurrants, and dark cherries jump out of the glass. This is followed by ripe plums, cassis, coco powder and Amarena Cherry with subtle hints of vanilla, cedar box, and dried herb de Provence.
Palate: The wine is full-bodied and robust with a firm, yet approachable, tannin structure. There are abundant layer of black fruits like blackberries and black cherries that dominate the palate, along with hints of blueberries and dark plums. These are followed by earthy undertones and savory notes of black olives, pink peppercorns and roasted coffee beans. The delicate oak influence adds subtle flavors of baking spices, dark chocolate, or a touch of cigar box.
